ABOUT

At One Play at a Time, Inc. Our inspiration originated from groups of children who, despite limited resources, always found a way to embrace joy and make the most of every moment. Their resilience and spirit are the heart of our mission.

We believe that every child has hopes, dreams, and untapped potential. What they need is a nurturing environment and the right guidance to help them thrive. That’s why One Play at a Time offers scholarships for programs to youth in under resourced communities, focusing on personal and professional development. Our goal is to empower them to succeed personally, professionally, and culturally.

Our team consists of dedicated professionals from diverse backgrounds, committed to supporting each young person’s unique journey. We tailor our approach to meet individual needs, whether it’s cultural adaptation, language development, or building a strong support network, ensuring every youth feels confident as they transition into adulthood and navigate the world around them.

Together, we can create opportunities and inspire the next generation of leaders, One Play At a Time.

Tamara Torres
Tamara TorresCeo & Founder
One Play at a Time

As a multi-faceted professional with over a decade of experience in international business, entertainment and media I’ve built a dynamic career rooted in strong relationships, global connections, and a deep commitment to empowering others. Known for my down-to-earth personality and business acumen, I’ve always believed in breaking boundaries and uplifting others around the world to pursue their dreams.

After traveling abroad and working with children in harsh environments it reawakened powerful memories of my childhood and the values my parents instilled in me, values that shaped who I am today. Throughout my travels, I witnessed something extraordinary in the children I met: untapped potential, remarkable resilience, and unwavering hope despite limited opportunities.

While circumstances may be difficult, the drive to rise above them and uplift others especially family was profoundly inspiring. I came to realize that all children, no matter where they come from, have hopes and dreams. They simply need the right support and a nurturing environment to thrive.

This is why I founded One PLAY at a Time to create meaningful opportunities for underserved youth across the globe, One dream, One step, One play at a time.
